I can understand a player wanting to be comfortable in stating who he is and what he is all about. Being gay is part of who a person is I guess, and they want the ability to freely express themselves without being targeted and attacked.

 

The only problem I would have with it is "coming out" during the playoffs, or before the superbowl if that was the case. Only because everyone knows that there would be a media firestorm, and it would be a great distraction to a team of 1 or more players started talking about their sexuality.

 

It's not the fact that they are gay, it is all in how they decide to inform others of the fact. We should all not even think twice about a persons sexuality, whatever, it is what it is. Unfortunatly we all know that the media would be all over it, asking questions, and being way too intrusive.

 

Wait until the team has taken care of business for the season. Don't give the media ammunition. That is all I ask.

Someone said recently. . all celebrities and famous people have something in common. They all have strong opinions and they cant wait to blast it on you. Yea evolving morally is a strong stance.  How can one evolve morally? Better question, why would someone want to evolve morally?

 

Who benefits from mystical evolution?  Also, morals don't evolve they get bent to the point where they aren't thought about anymore then they become a myth.  This great country was built on morals, no in under 50 years those morals have been castaway like you would a disposable razor.

 

Ok so it is clear to me why we haven't been agreeing on anything.  Apparently you don't understand the definitions of the words I am using.  So here we go:

You have a very elementary understanding of what it means to be gay. Its not just a sexual practice/preference like bdsm or giving a fuging hand job. I'm afraid that I'm not the one who's lacking in logical thinking ability.
