Gay player...problem fans

I'm having trouble understanding something,

Why is it so important that homosexuals cram their lifestyle down the throats of others?

I don't ask my friends about their sexual habits and really don't want them telling me! Each their own! I find swingers weird, but I don't judge cause I don't care, furthermore, I don't care to know. So why is it so gawd dam important that I know what others do to get themselves off?

 

I don't think they are cramming anything down the throats of anyone. (that made me giggle to type out)

 

Not caring what other people do is great. Unfortunately there are a lot of people who care about what others do...to the point they actually create amendments prohibiting  two consenting adults the same privileges as another group of adults.

 

Did you vote for or against prop 1 here in NC?

Yes, acceptance is the right answer.  That being said, some people have differing opinions and that should be accepted to.  

 

But my point was this thread should be moved or locked because it has absolutely nothing to do with the Panthers.

I just don't get how people really have any problem with someone being gay.

 

I don't understand how someone is that way....because I have never felt that way.

 

But, I have several friends and actually an ex-wife who are gay.....and I damn sure know they did not chose to be that way.  They went through hell with families, society, etc when they came out.

 

Their choices just do not affect my life...so it is not really my concern. 

 

I prefer to worry about and deal with things that (1) I can control, and (2) directly affect me and my family.

What about an openly heterosexual player! When was it ever required for one to declare their sexual orientation. Other than porn, of course. Other than for getting potential NFL mates I don't really see the need to do so. What about those who prefer 2 or 3 women at a time? Should they come public too. Some men like sticking it in every hole a woman possess, should those multi-holers come forward too? People seems to forget that homosexuality is a sexual preference just like the multi-holers, and sex is something that is done in the freedom of our own privacy. Keep your sexual exploit to yourself and I'll keep mine to myself.

 

The funny thing is, they're not even asking for the fans' authorization(which they don't need), just informing us. By the way, I'm gay, now watch me catch this football. Lol

Not all opinions should be accepted. If someone says, "I hate blacks and Jews," one shouldn't just shrug their shoulders and say, "to each their own, I guess," and then goose step away.

Most guys who are anti-gay think that being around a gay guy is awkward....because they think all gay guys want them.

Agreed.

 

Preference infers that they are making a choice.  When you really are close to someone who is gay, you realize that there is no "choice" in the matter.  They are the way they are.

 

This is why most homosexual people don't like bi-sexual people....they think that they are making a mockery out of being gay.

Doesn't mean you have to agree with them but it is certainly their right to feel that way.  That doesn't mean they are right.

 

Anyone can have their opinion as long as they don't act on that opinion towards another (i.e hate crimes, bullying, etc)
