contrary to popular belief, for one to be convicted of murder in the cover-2 degree, they do in fact need to actually cover.

I couldn't disagree more. If he's guilty, he'll do serious time. Most people that say our justice system is a joke don't know anything about our justice system - no offense.

To put this in context, we're not exactly discussing an iconic athlete here. Neither is Hernandez a beloved figure in the Patriots organization.

Heck, from what I've read, it seems like some of his own teammates don't even like him.

That's two cases out of millions and millions that are decided correctly. I agree with you on the OJ case, but the Stallworth case was decided correctly. You have to prove that the alcohol caused the accident and the prosecutor didn't meet this burden. Apparently the victim ran out in front of Stallworth's car and they determined a sober person would have still hit the victim.

You don't have to agree with my statement, but 99% of people form their opinion about the court system based on jury duty and what they read about in the papers which is wrong 90% of the time.

Aaron Hernandez has been taken out of his house in handcuffs.  No word on the charges yet.

i think they showed his lawyers go into his house earlier today. 

 

 the guy didn't even have his shirt on when the cops showed up and they had to pull one on him after the cuffs were on.
