Alex Len "I'd Love To Play With Kemba Walker"

Recommended Posts

Your list almost identical to mine

(1) Len

(2) McLemore

(3) Noel

(4) Bennett

(5) Trade down (Bazz)

I can talk myself to almost any player in the lottery except Bennett and Oladipo.

Bennett: Jumper jacker is my fear

Oladipo: Is he really a huge difference to Hendo

I dislike Bennett's size but his love his potential.

Not a fan of Oladipo bc he's pretty much the same player as MKG, except has a better J. I wanna throw up Everytime I see a mock mocking Oladipo to us.

I need to back track, I would be happy with McLemore, we need a shooting guard but like every other prospect (including Len), I have my concerns.

If I were to list in order my favorite prospects, it would look like this.

1. Len

2. McLemore

3. McCollum (trade down)

4. Noel

5. Bennett

MY list

1. Len

2. Mclemore

3. Trade down get Olynyk

4. Trade down get Zellers

5. Bennett

Let me show you something

This is what a Offensive SG looks like when he is confident in his shot.

Watch how the ball leaves his hand as soon as he open. No wasted movement going around screens.  Finds the open spots on the floor. Then no wasted motions in his shot.

Now look at Victor

While Victor has Improved. You can see the wasted motions and Movement when he takes a shot then you do with Mclemore. He hesitates when he's open something you can do in College but not in the pro's where players are bigger and faster. A extra millisecond is all a defender needs to effect your shot.

Then the fact he didn't take a lot of shots and it's such a small sample to judge makes people feel his offensive game in the Nba could be Fools gold.

I'm not saying Oladipo is going to be a 20 ppg scorer, but he's not as bad of an offensive player as people seem to think. In fact, when you compare per 36 stats, he scored only a half a point less than McLemore on fewer shots.

As far as my big board:

1) Noel

2) Oladipo

3) Burke

4) Zeller

5) McLemore

6) Porter

That doesn't consider our needs but I don't think need should be considered unless 2 or more prospects are considered to be very close in terms of talent. Now I await getting called an idiot for not having Len or Bennett in my top 6.

He can be a scorer without being one-dimensional. By one-dimensional, I mean he has no outside game.

If we didn't have MKG, I would definitely be interested in Victor as he is a great slasher and has that killer instinct and clutch gene that a lot of players don't have (see NCAA tourney).

He just plays too similar to MKG which allows the defense to play a matchup zone on us because the only players on our roster that can hit a three are our point guard and center.

Also a zone really hurts Kemba because it doesn't allow him to drive to the lane either. In essence teams would force a slashing team to become a jump shooting team... that's not good.

Stfu, why hasnt he signed any where yet?

Because he will chose during the offseason which team he will make his comeback for.
