Alex Len "I'd Love To Play With Kemba Walker"

Recommended Posts

Nice interview, he's doing really well with English considering.   What I notice is he's very humble, and I feel he'll be a hard worker, coming from where he came from, I think he realizes what an amazing thing it is to be able to play in the NBA.   I like he mentioned defense as his favorite part of the game.  Also, he played through his injury and that shows some toughness, even though like Simmons says in the interview, it shouldn't be delayed (looking into it that is).

So who should we settle on?

An out of shape McLemore

Another defensive minded big in Noel

A small tweener in Bennett

A one-dimensional shooting guard in Oladipo

What do you suggest?

Out of shape McLemore? Have you seen McLemore? One of his strengths is that he has an NBA-ready body. The guy is ripped.

I'm not going to address Noel at all.

I agree with you on Bennett. Don't like him.

Oladipo is not as one dimensional as you think.

CP8789 is just being bias. It's like me saying Len's knees aren't going to hold up in the NBA bc he's 7 footer, white boy can't jump, or name me one European Center who has ever won a championship. Just bull$hit reasons to force him in thinking his guy is better.

If Len is there at 4, great but if not I'd glady take someone else. The world is not going to end.

There have been reports of Mclemore showing up to workouts not in shape. Teams are also seeing a problem with the people he is listening to. Meaning his Reps. are making him fug up.

Sources tell ESPN that Kansas SG Ben McLemore was out of shape in recent workouts for the Suns and Magic.
McLemore reportedly "struggled to keep up." It's not a good look for a player whose assertiveness and motivation was already being questioned thanks to a bunch of passive games in college. McLemore is sliding down boards as the June 27 draft approaches. Chad Ford does have him going fifth to the Suns in his latest Mock. Jun 18 - 3:29 PM

That/Those argument/s aren't even remotely the same.

There are reports out that McLemore is out of shape.

There are no reports of Len having a knee injury, he has an ankle injury.

All you have to do is watch a game of his to see that he can jump

Pau Gasol won an NBA Championship and Marc Gasol will soon enough.

You really need to stop, you're making yourself look bad.

Let me show you something

This is what a Offensive SG looks like when he is confident in his shot.

Watch how the ball leaves his hand as soon as he open. No wasted movement going around screens.  Finds the open spots on the floor. Then no wasted motions in his shot.

Now look at Victor

While Victor has Improved. You can see the wasted motions and Movement when he takes a shot then you do with Mclemore. He hesitates when he's open something you can do in College but not in the pro's where players are bigger and faster. A extra millisecond is all a defender needs to effect your shot.

Then the fact he didn't take a lot of shots and it's such a small sample to judge makes people feel his offensive game in the Nba could be Fools gold.

Like the article said and KKL mentioned above, it's more of his people fugging him up, not him being outta shape.

Pau: 1 european outta how many? I'm just messing with u.

And all you have to do is watch a game of his to see that he's not outta shape.

I need to back track, I would be happy with McLemore, we need a shooting guard but like every other prospect (including Len), I have my concerns.

If I were to list in order my favorite prospects, it would look like this.

1. Len

2. McLemore

3. McCollum (trade down)

4. Noel

5. Bennett

Well your list isn't too different from mine.

1. Len

2. Noel

3. McLemore

4. Trade Down (Shabazz....don't judge me I like him!)

Great. But even Len comes with concerns.
