We all know the Positions up for grabs so what is you prediction who will wind up on top.

1. SS ---

Mitchell  --  Campbell ----- Lester

2. WR (3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th)

Hixon --- Ginn ---- Edwards --- Gettis --- Pilaris --- Adams -- Bryant

3. CB (1st , 2nd, Nickle 2 back-ups )

Norman -- Florance --- Thomas -- Moore -- Captain -- Dockery -- Ness -- White

4. TE (2nd/3rd)

Rosario --- Williams

5. RG

Hangman -- Kubgillia

1. Mitchell - I think he is what we're needing, someone with real experience in the NFL in a pass-happy division (with Phillip Rivers and Peyton). Besides, with Godfrey's ability at FS, all we really need is a 4th linebacker, and Mitchell can hit the hell out of some people.

2. Hixon 3rd, Ginn 4th, Pilares 5th - I don't think Rivera likes Gettis that much, and I'm not sure why. Hixon, if healthy, can be a very, very good receiver. If Ginn catches the ball, isn't afraid of contact, and runs his routes, he could have a massive season. I think Pilares sneaks in because Rivera does like him. He is a special teams player, he plays hard, and he does his best.

3. Florence 1, Thomas 2, Captain Nickel, then Moore, Norman, Dockery, White - Florence is a very, very solid pro. He has experience, he knows offenses, and he can really help the guys just by being on the field. Thomas played his ass off toward the end of the year last year, when Norman was benched, which I believe earned Rivera's respect. Captain will get the majority of snaps at nickel, but Moore will also get looks there to help Captain get a breather when he comes in from special teams.

4. Williams - I guess? I honestly don't think it'll matter that much.

5. Hangartner - He's been with the offensive line for so long, and someone like Kug will still be learning the offense... At least until mid-season, anyways.

No way pilaries makes this team or joe adams. i gotta go with ae hix and gettis. easy

Not hearing good things about Gettis and last year he seemed in the dog house.

I live his size and speed, but I do not think things look good for home. Here is to hoping he shows up big in TC and pre season.

You got 7 CBs making the roster. We'll keep 5 max. We had 4 last season.

My money is on Gettis to start at the 3, YEP ahh shiz Razey now ya dunnit!

Gettis will start at the 3, here's why I think so. Ginn and Hixon. . . yeah they need to learn our offense. You guys have any idea how complex it is for a receiver to learn a pro offense? I'll take AE as my 6 and sorry but Pilares will catch on with the Raiders. . . I will say though, lol, Edwards could start at the 3 also.

1. SS - Mike Mitchell. Don't think DJ has the talent at the moment. I feel like Lester is all Alabama hype and no one would care about him if he went to a different school and all the other variables were the same.

2. WR - Hixon/Ginn/Pilares

Armanti sucks. Joe Adams is in the doghouse. David Gettis hasn't shown anything since 2010. Pilares can be a decent gadget player, Ginn can run real fast, Hixon is probably the most well-rounded.

3. CB - Captain, Thomas, Norman/Dockery, DJ

Captain Munnerlyn starts outside and moves inside in nickel just like last season. Most experienced player in the system. Josh Thomas played well enough I think to secure a job. DJ Moore is a backup nickel. Josh Norman and James Dockery fight to be the outside guy when Captain slides in. Not sure which.

4. TE

I think Ben Hartsock makes the team. And then Nelson Rosario. Brandon Williams has been out too long.

5. RG

I bet Geoff Hangartner wins this pretty easily. Godzilla is too raw at the moment.

All of the incredible praise he is currently getting from the coaches.

I kniwbitbus still OTA's, but the way they are talking I would def give AE a great opportunity this year.

People should start preparing themselves for AE to make it. It will make is much less painful in a few months where it is likely to happen.

I was hoping to Gettis to step up, but the silence (along with last year's issues with getting on the field) does not bode well for him,

I agree, but i'm hoping the gettis we saw last year was just because he wasn't fully recovered from him injury similar to beason. A fully healthy gettis should easily win this job over even AE.

That opinion is not real.

Not knowing the offense is a killer, look at Chad Johnson. Ocho Noshow, couldnt learn the offense in NE. I wouldnt expect Ginn or Hixon to start. Maybe later in the year but not at game 1. If either of them ARE starting at the 3 or 2 then either something very wrong happened or that dude is absolute classroom beast.

KKL,. . . I guess I feel like, there different kinds of coaches out there. Some are hard ass idiots, like Schiano, but on the opposite end of the spectrum there are players coaches. Guys like Dungy or Fox, theyre more willing to give a guy a shot. My guess is because usually those coaches werent very good players when they played in the NFL and barely got any PT so they really respect the underdog and are more likely to give him a shot.

If AE balls and shows that he's ready, I think Chico is the kind of man thats going to give him a shot.

that and well, I felt I needed to say something bold this offseason instead of merely analyzing the situation

Our system isnt like the Pats. Its not going to be hard for a 7 and 8 year vet to pick up. Rookies maybe. Hell I'd give Gettis a very small shot to make the team at this point. I think Ginn and Hixon will split #3 WR, depending on the type of route.
