It's impossible for him to speak without being a dickhead.

What has Barnbridge done to say he is ANYTHING ?

Rosario was on a milkcarton at the end of last season....

I think they can be players too, but to be preaching their total awesomeness at this time is little more than wishful thinking.

And while a Solid->Good TE he isn't the most athletic guy in the bunch by a long shot.

Exactly! He's the kind of TE a team needs though. The solid guy.

Rosario worries me, I honestly don't know if he will get a game jersey every week this season. His mental mistakes last season pretty much cost him a chance at being a starter last season.

Barnbridge could be our breakout guy this year. I have hopes for him.

Yeah I know DR had some struggles and errors. One thing I like about both is that they seem to want to get better and without having that attitude nothing good happens. We shall see.

I know it was college but I did watch some vids on GB in college around draft time and did specifically look for his blocking ability. He wasn't bad really. Certainly he was competent. Jeff D needs to bust out the Daniel Graham vids for them. That dude is a MUTHA of a blocker.

yeah, that is a big thing. he could be amazing but it was those screw ups that made him a liability. they had to work things around him and not in a good way.

that is why i think barnidge has a chance to be what we hoped that rosario would be for us. basically it boils down to whoever makes the least amount of mistakes gets the starting job....and that includes king.

...or when he's in trouble he looks for the surest hands.

glass half full. glass half empty.

nobody's ever bashed brady for blindly throwing hail marys to moss every chance he got.

Surest hands that has a Lb underneath and a safety over top with and a cb man to man on him.

NOT BASHING JAKE!!! I just would love if he spread the love around better. Our talent would really show if you throw a little bit more too DWill, Jstew, Dante, Gary and now Goodson.

all I called them was studs, physically and athletically. They can stretch the field and have great hands. Stop making poo up about me calling them totally awesome (ghey) and stick to the facts. they are studs and there are three of them. Compare that to what we have had at the position since Walls and you have to see that there is a change in the acquisition efforts at that position. they are studs in the way that they compare to Mike Seidman.

try reading next time

TE is used mainly for blocking but they are being used more over the past couple years.

i have faith that our new QB coach, who is doing a better job of coaching and teaching our QBs than mccoy. i'm of the belief that it isn't too late for jake to learn some new things and that with his determination to improve and work ethic along with the proper guidance that we can and will have a better QB this year than last in jake. that includes mechanics and field vision and finding/using the open receiver.

Really thats the job of a TE. I mean there is only a few TEs that really cant stretch the field and are not glorified WRs that cant block. Finding both is hard and the running game and protecting the QB is alot more important the another receiver. With that said in years past if Smith was not open or if Jake was in trouble he loved to throw to King. I remember on many occasions when he did. He also loves to throw to Hoover coming out the backfield and that might be why Goodson might stick. I mean to bash Jake for throwing to smith is just stupid because you want your best players to have the ball and who here is gonna say any of our TEs are better then Smith?

I still like King. No he's not "shiny" or "flashy" but he's solid. Of course, I called him at his draft, so I have a vested interest. The others show great potential, but potential still needs $2 to buy a cup of coffee...

Crolls I think you are a schizo. I am not being funny either. Sometimes you can be completely reasonable, sometimes you act like a two year old.

the times when I am being completely reasonable are the times when I am not saying anything negative about Jake Delhomme.

it's a theory proven over and over again on this site by myself and others

you are what you are and you can't possibly help it.

anybody want the stats?

You acted like a two year old with my opinion on why the TEs can't be called stud.

I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK I LIKE IT.

Fail.

I am done now talking about this in this thread, because this is an actual topic, and a good one.

I apologize to the rest of the participants in this thread for the hijacking.
