I don't get the point of comparing it to other movies.

Expecting superman to be as entertaining as the avengers is setting yourself up for disappointment.

Even expecting it to be like a dark vigilante movie....seriously?

I also LOL'd at Louis finding Clark that quick as if Metropolis (NY in our time) is that small lol.

All the comparisons to the Dark Knight... have you guys ever really LISTENED to the dialog? What makes TDK so good is the pacing and the build-up. Without those elements, the plots are pretty bad. In the end, its about a guy richer than God who says corny things like "SWEAR TO ME!!!"

Besides, Batman Begins was easily the weakest movie of the trilogy. Who's to say the first MOS won't be the weakest? As far as logic, heck a man as paranoid as Bruce Wayne didn't do background checks on Selina Kyle or Miranda Tate before they were hired?

 

Well, I wouldn't say Begins is weak, it's much better than MOS though.  But I'm in the group that liked Begins and Rises better than Dark Knight, not saying Dark Knight is weak either.  All three of those movies are awesome but I understand your point.  MOS is a GOOD movie, we can't always except GREAT when it comes to Superhero movies, I think he's a hard character to capture without being campy.  

 

It's like some people are talking about this movie like it's the Fantastic Four movies or Green Lantern lol.

And not the only one either.  Dark Knight was awesome though, but I loved the type of story that those other two told.

I say BB was the weakest because it took so long to develop... then towards the middle, it took off at warp speed. I had to watch it twice to catch everything. It seemed like 20 seconds passed from Falcone being poisoned until the Batman jumped off the train.
