Andrew Luck the 23rd ranked player in the nfl?

When you have 10 games against:

Jax 2x

Tennessee 2x

Jets

Browns

Dolphins

Buffalo

Detroit

Kansas City

If you don't win 10 games against that schedule last year the coach should be fired on the spot.  It is a who's who of the worst teams in the league.

10 games against TERRIBLE competition.  The simple fact that the Colt's needed 7 game winning drives against that bad of competition should be concerning for Colt's fans.

The Panthers on the other hand.  In my opinion the NFC South and the NFC East are the best divisions in football top to bottom.  We got to play the NFC East last season.  So right off the bat 10 of our 16 games were against good competition, or at the very least very talented teams.

But lets remove Philly from that list because they were terrible.  So that is actually 9 games against pretty stiff and/or talented competition.  Then add Chicago, Denver, and Seattle as 3 of our other out of division games.

So 12 games against division rivals and top tier teams out of 16.

So summarize my point, the Colts had 10 of their 16 games against the pootiest teams in the NFL and the Panthers had 12 of their 16 against pretty damn good teams.

So to answer your question, yes there is a very big difference between the Colt's schedule and the Panther's schedule last season.

It is worth noting Luck only threw for 323 yards more on 110 more attempts.

I knew I had seen where it was over 100 attempts.  How is it he was 17 higher than Cam last year.

I'll tell you.  Andrew Luck has been slotted for the Hall of Fame since he was a Junior in college.  Amazing how they never took his INTs into consideration.

first off, u overrate the nfc east and the nfc south. although year in and year out the east is one of the toughest div. in the league, we are talking about last year. the giants had an off year, the eagles were terrible, and we all know what the cowboys are. the nfc south had two very beatable teams in the saints and bucs. also, the colts beat 3 playoff teams, the panthers beat 2. the colts and panthers had 1 common opponent, the chiefs. the  colts beat the chiefs in kc, the panthers lost. also, you completely discredit the dolphins and lions. when the colts beat miami, the dolphins were 5-2, and playing really tough, and going into detroit and winning is no walk in the park. you want to pad the panthers schedule and completely discredit the colts. you must remember, the colts won 11, the panthers won 7. as i said in my original post, it aint college, there are no easy outs. remember, a win is a win, and like ringo said, it dont come easy.  to discredit what the colts did because you think the panthers played a tougher schedule is fools play.

If your logic was any more infantile it would be preconceptional.

Andrew Luck is a prodigy.  The most mature rookie the NFL has seen in a while.  I have no problem with his ranking.  Everyone complaining about Luck being ranked higher than Cam, I was surprised to see Cam ranked at all to tell you the truth.  Cam still needs to harness all his skills.

Umm. No. Incorrect. This is a load of horseshiit masquerading as intelligent talk.

Luck played like hot  festering garbage for long stretches of the year. His post-snap progression reading is miles behind Cam, and his pre-snap reads weren't particularly great either. The comparisons between Luck and Peyton as a rookie are so unwarranted that I literally wonder if people actually have a f*cking clue what sport they are watching.

Ding...ding...ding....we have a winner.

its funny that of the 10 teams that you listed as being so sorry, the panthers lost to the worst of the bunch, the chiefs. if you couldnt beat the chiefs what makes you think you could beat the rest. i addressed you further a few posts down. u might have been a little premature with your little ding ding ding

Luck stepped up and led his team to 11 wins.  Some of them coming from behind.  He's also got all around leadership skills to go along with his play.  There was one time this season, a jaguar's player must have pushed Luck or got a cheap shot on him because Luck's teammates were about to get in that player's face.  However, Luck stopped his teammates, and kept them focused on the game.  I never saw such a thing before.  He's only going to get better with experience.

Are you talking about the same game where Cam thre 3 TDs and had zero turnovers, and a 121 passer rating? And our defense allowed Brady effing Quinn to have a 132+ passer rating? That one? Hmm, I wonder who's to blame for that loss, geez, let me think, it's a real humdinger, this is.

Sometimes I wonder how people possess the brainpower to breathe. . .

You know why you never saw such a thing before? Because you no idea what football is, and are confusing your Madden escpadaes with real life. You want to know how hard Luck sucked ass this year? Take a look:

Notice who's the 30th ranked QB? Your dumbass wonderboy, that's who. Oh, and check out his game log:

http://www.fieryprophet.com/qba/player/A.Luck?start=current&end=current&type=all

Notice the FIVE games colored in purple? Those are games where his stupid ass played like dogsh*t and the TEAM still won.

Let me be brutally frank: you don't have a goddamn clue what you're talking about, and you really should shut your mouth about Luck before you expose your ignorance any further.

Prodigy? Wow! I'm lost. Prodigy! Football can be so ambiguous sometimes.

I don't care too much concerning QBA.  There was stretches where Cam didn't play well either, does that mean he sucks?  The fact is Luck led his team, and they won.  You think the Colts make the playoffs without Luck? (Assuming they didn't have Peyton either)  I don't.  Oh, and don't mention Madden concerning me.  I'm a 2k fan.

    • 100% even if rest of team is really talented if they march young out to be qb and he plays like he has for 90% of his starts the panthers have already lost doesnt even matter how good the rest of the team is or isnt and also makes it hard to even tell how good they are.  They need true competition for young this offseason.
    • It will be awesome to have an improved stadium to lose in I guess....   https://www.yahoo.com/news/panthers-file-rezoning-bank-america-111500840.html     The Carolina Panthers have taken another necessary step toward renovating their home of the present and future. Panthers Stadium, LLC, filed its rezoning site plan with the city of Charlotte on Monday, initiating an important — if mostly technical — step toward renovating Bank of America Stadium. The filings state that the rezoning relates “primarily to technical aspects associated with improvements to Bank of America Stadium,” and that the rezoning is required because “the current stadium zoning is out of date” for the team’s stadium renovation plans.   The planned stadium updates include new seats installed throughout the upper and lower bowls; stadium safety and security enhancements; a reimagined South Lawn Pavilion; upgraded restrooms; exterior enhancements (including LED video boards) and more. Planning for the stadium renovation project will continue through 2025, with construction starting in 2026 and the renovation’s conclusion in 2029, The Observer previously reported.
    • In my dream, we somehow luck into a top 2 pick and someone wants a QB bad and doesn’t want anyone else to jump them. Somehow we’ll probably screw up the picks anyway, but it would be nice to do even partially what Chicago did to us. We’d have to lose out, which is a decent possibility unless Tampa is resting. We need Atlanta to stay within a game because Atlanta beat Tampa twice. The rest of the draft slots are who knows because Jax plays the Raiders and then Tennessee and you never know who will rest starters. I think we are top 7 unless we somehow pull out 2 more wins. The 4 win teams have higher SOS and there is only one 5 win team with the same SOS. If we win 1 of 3, we still should stay in top 7. If we lose out and the Jax games work for us, we can easily be top 3.
