6/13 camp tweets

LMAO. Armanti himself said in a recent interview that he hasn't thrown a real pass since the conversion project commenced. I guess if we are down to 3rd string QB we are screwed regardless. At that point throw poo against the wall. Anything is better than that Clausen clown.

Well that's a lie. I've seen him throws passes in designed plays during training camp and he even attempted a pass during s regular season game last year.

I really hate hearing this.  I was hoping we'd be hearing good things about Gettis.  As good as Armanti may look in shorts he is a pu$$y when the pads get put on.

and your credibility soars. what a punk. get out of your mommy's basement and see if you can grow some balls.

Then Armanti is the liar. Tom Sorenson wrote an article in the Observer on June 6 featuring Armanti. I don't have the link on my phone but I'll read you Armanti's quote when Tom asked him if he dreams of playing QB.

"The only time I throw balls is after the catch, like you saw."

Didn't somebody throw a pass to Cam in 2011 that was nearly a touchdown?

Armanti threw a pass against ATL, not to Cam, and it was a good pass.  The receiver (can't remember if it was Smitty) definitely got bumped or else it was a completion.  Of course it wasn't called.

Let's be serious.....if Jimmy gets in the game then we're fuged and there is obviously no hope.  Why not use AE who "isn't a NFL QB" in that desperate situation rather than JC who also isn't a NFL QB.  I would 100% rather see AE struggle at QB than JC.  No question.....

I said this in another thread but I don't seem to remember ae doing much in past camps/otas???

nothing other than the occasional tweet when someone makes a score or a nice grab, but people are turning that into something way more to dismiss what he is actually doing now and cant admit he might possibly with time and experience, show some type of improvement.

Agreed...this is the whole point.  If I had not seen it with my own eyes yesterday I wouldn't have mentioned it.  It was the first time I've ever seen him look like a real WR.  There's a long way to go, but it's freaking encouraging.  That's all......

I couldn't tell you where App State is and can honestly say I never saw AE play in college. But what I do know is Armanti's teammates seem to genuinely admire his effort and perseverance, and he is consistently described as a hard worker. It appears he has shown improvement each year, with this mini-camp being his best showing to date.

These things tell me that Armanti is the type of guy we should all support. I just don't understand why anyone would want anything but the best for him.
