He was a college QB who was drafted and had to learn a completely different position.  And the WR position is widely said to be one of the most difficult positions to learn/master in the NFL.

i would have answered that guy's question myself, but i figured if he is dumb enough to ask it, he probably can't register enough brain power to figure something like that out even if explained to him.  he has been asked to do things he hasnt ever done and assumed he can switch and learn a new position on the fly quickly.  i don't expect much from him, but i wouldn't be surprised that if he catches on to playing wr, that he could make an impact.

edwards played wide receiver in high school. he didn't switch to qb until his senior year.

the jump from high to to nfl is big, but playing wide receiver is nothing new to him.

I am all aboard the Armanti Train!  We as a group here on the huddle have eviscerated, neutered, beaten, slandered, demeaned, taken behind the woodshed, disowned and whatever other bad thing you can do to some one via the internet to this poor kid all because some idiot in the front office over drafted him and put him in a position to fail.  Well it looks to me like the kid is ready to prove some people wrong.  And I will be one of the first to say, I'm sorry and I'm glad we have him.  Good luck Armanti!

it is when you dont play it for 5 years, are somewhat undersized and playing against professional defenders.  nfl routes compared to high school, the speed and timing, there is no comparison.

Well to be fair last season we were getting camp tweets about armanti making spectacular grabs that didn't show up in the preseason. There wasn't this many but, there was quite a few. That said I hope he has turned the corner, I know he hasn't done well but I root for the guy. When he broke that long punt return I went nuts. He's a good kid and hope he gets the best.
