i thought it was some kind of record for the amount of time people held out hope for dwayne jarret to finally come around, but the armanti edwards hopefuls are beating it by far.

edwards has always looked good in the offseason, his achilles heel is live contact...he's afraid of it. you can see it every time he gets the opportunity to step on the field.

there will be hope for him yet if he shows he won't play scared.

except armanti is the exact opposite of dwayne jarrett...he actually gives a poo.

this is the first time i've heard anyone say he looks good.  seems like you pessimists keep saying the same things over and over, hoping it becomes true.  if he always looked good in practice, he would have had more opportunities in games, which obviously isn't the case.  but keep saying that if it makes feel smarter or revolutionary

Jonathan Jones @jjones9 10m

Rivera: Probably the guy who’s really improved the most during these OTAs and minicamp has been Armanti.

Jonathan Jones @jjones9 10m

When I say I envision him making team easily, I don't mean he's the next Jerry Rice. Just don't see it being as close a call like past years

Jonathan Jones @jjones9 8m

Coaches are raving about him and he's making more grabs than any other WR in his echelon during workouts

Jonathan Jones @jjones9 7m

Whether than translates into production in reg. season is TBD. But the breath-holding on final cut day won't be about him, IMO

I really hate hearing this.  I was hoping we'd be hearing good things about Gettis.  As good as Armanti may look in shorts he is a pu$$y when the pads get put on.

It was you that said he played great in practice but it did not translate to games.Just because Hurney gave to high of a pick for the guy is no reason to be a hater.

Did you not see where Rivera just said he is the most improved player this year at camp?

I never said I was an Armanti hater lol. I just don't think he will help us. And by great in practice I mean during mini camps and what not. He disappeared when they put the pads on, hopefully its different this time around.

You can't really compare Dwayne Jarrett and Armanti, Jarrett came out as a wr and underachieved. AE has been learning this whole time. Glad to see a Panther wr doing well that much better.

I didn't compare the two. The other guy did. So i just said well Armanti actually gives a poo unlike Jarrett

I wouldnt say Armanti is a pussy, good god. Dude, he's still goin over the middle and poo, but yeah he seems to kind of hang there sometimes or just fall like a statue. . . its weird for someone that was so gutsy in college. Id like to see him this year though, he could make the jump at anytime.

Funny when some guy posting on a website calls a professional athlete (especially a football player) a pussy.

so the reason why he hasn't made an impact thus far is...?

He was a college QB who was drafted and had to learn a completely different position.  And the WR position is widely said to be one of the most difficult positions to learn/master in the NFL.
