Oh and since RoaringRiot actually you know attended mini camp, his opinion overrides yours kkl.

Because he saw him catch passes in shorts?? That hasn't been Armanti's problem. Armanti's problem is doing it when guys who aren't his teammates are around him.

I'll wait till I see him do that and not be fooled again by practice performances.

yea i haven't read one post saying that Armanti is gonna finally make an impact. Everyone is just excited because it is clear he has made a jump in his wide reciever abilities. Nobody has forgotten the past, nobody has annointed him anything. KoolKatLuke just freaks out and starts using all caps to try and get his point across, when there is no need. Everybody is aware.

And I choose not to get excited about mini camp notes. So....................................KYS I guess.

PS: I used Caps in this thread because a reading problem was showing up by some posters. I was just trying to help people understand what I was saying because it seem like a hard thing to do.  I rarely ever do it .

in 3 years, whatever armanti has done in practice just has not translated to the game field in his limited reps. in those reps he has shown little to know seperation when running routes, looks slower that your grandma with the ball in his hands. i will wait until i see him do those amazing plays in TC and preseason games before i crown him for improving. and how bad is our WR depth that armanti is running with the 1s? smh

guys you cannot say mini camp means nothing, then turn around say this guy is the poo because he doing everything right in mini camp.

I get that, but from what we have heard from mini camp these are not a few good plays as seen in years past by AE. This time it seems different, like he is getting actual praise and not pity praise. RoaringRiot seems to see a difference, as do the coaches. I am not "crowning his ass" as Denny Green would say, but let's have some hope that Armanti has taken great strides so far this off season.

AE has never done in practice or a game what he's done this week...period. That means he has improved....period. Let's hope this means he will improve in a real game. The end.

It's like you have these wannabe geniuses that can't wait to tell everyone "i told you so" and for now they keep repeating a common lie:  "he has been doing this every year but it doesn't translate to game production."  They disregard reality of the past because it's so far behind us to make a spewing pipe of sewage to create themselves and argument, and it's the easiest, laziest way to do it.

I don't have much expectations for AE myself, and I feel he is getting the nod over the new guys because he has been here the longest, but he obviously has made major improvement this year which is all you can ask for.  Wouldn't it be nice to have groomed a player the right way over time rather than bring some FA in?  Lastly, there are very, very few wr's that come out right away in their first or second years.  Most take at least 3 or even 4 before they start hitting their strides.  We gave up a 2nd rounder for him, we owe it to ourselves to see if he can live up to the hopes we had when he was drafted.

Then you must not have read Camp notes last year and the year before because they were saying the same thing about Armanti in TC last year.

im pretty sure every player has a tweet or two about them here and there, which is about all AE had with minimal opportunity.  if you want to be one of these meatballs that continues to turn it into something bigger, go ahead, we all know you are reaching.  but at least you feel good about it.

ok and some people do choose to get excited. no reason to rain on our parade.  The adjustment from QB to WR in the NFL is ridiculously hard. Even if he is just in shorts he "looks" like a reciever now. He's fighting for the ball, he's jumping over defenders to catch passes.

obviously this is just shorts. But he didn't do things like that before. I've said before in other threads Armanti's biggest problem to me is he plays timid in pads, which is the exact opposite of what he did at App. He was fearless. So if he can somehow find that mentality again, plus the jump he has made at reciever, he could make an impact for us. I'm not holding my breathe, but i am personally excited for the guy cause i know how hard he has worked and how good of a guy he is.

I'm total agreement.

Like I said "again". I'll wait until I see it on the field. I'm not getting fooled about Mini or TC notes and observations concerning certain players because "I've" seen them before.

This is not and unreasonable thought process to have. So I don't know what to say to some of you.

I'm Not raining on anybody parade but I can give my fuging opinion in any thread I want to.

Not once did I say in this thread "you should feel like I feel or think like I think". I gave my opinion and a understand how some people aren't doing Cartwheels for Armanti.

Plain and Simple he has been a wasted roster spot for 2 years now.

You suggested it when you said "I'm raining on peoples Parade".

that doesn't suggest it. when you go on and on with FULL CAPS EVERY OTHER POST.  nobody would care. they would just say, "ok this guy doesn't agree, cool." simple as that. but you are a 30+ year old man that blabs on like 5 year old so have fun, k thanks bye

oh dont be fooled by any means, we would hate that.  acknowledging someone may have possibly improved in 4 years would be so detrimental to your ego if you might be wrong.
