First three pages were great to read, thanks. I'm sleeping while minicamp is going on, fun to read some observations in the morning.

Let's hope Ginn can step up as WR, or at least stretch the field. That will give us some advantages compared to previous season, and should help Cam in the pass game.

As far as Taro being bwood. Don't think the mods would let him come back. Kurb and I had a conversation through pm and I mentioned Bwood. Kurb said he wasn't coming back. So I doubt its Bwood. Kurb wouldn't lie to me... Or would he? :o

I actually didn't know it was pronounced "kuh-bill-uh" as opposed to "kuhg-bill-uh" so thank you to whomever it was that brought that to light. I would have looked like a fugtard the first time I talked about him in person with someone.

I have been a staunch Gettis supporter.  After 2 injuried filled season even.  I felt he was going to become the player we thought we had when we drafted in 2010.  There hasn't been a peep about him this during any portion of OTAs and now mini-camp.

 

Sooner or later you gotta cut your losses.  As much as I think AE wouldn't make the team he is at least out there ON THE FIELD making a case for himself.   We cannot say the same about Gettis.

 

Gettis looked fine yesterday.  He ran with the 2s.  He looked quick - was making cuts and was spinning - had a few catches.  He looked to be in the mix.  Calm down....it's EARLY man.

I think that honor would belong to Star. While it sucks he isn't out there, it's really not that big of a deal.  I'll be very concerned in training camp. As long as he is understanding concepts, that is all that really matters right now. If it was serious, they wouldn't have him on the bike. It is definitely precautionary.

 

Maybe, but I wonder if they thought he would be there at 14.  However with the heart issue, maybe they felt he would drop and maybe they wanted to check out the heart issue.

Just wondering since this thread has gone to talk about injuries, have we made any significant changes to the medical, training, conditioning, staff people.

 

I would have voted for a power yoga and pilates instructor.

Hope you are right.  We are finishing TC today.  I saw this after I posted my earlier comment but I guess it has taken till the last week of mini-camps before his name has been mentioned.

 

My top 4 based on OTA/Minicamp    Smitty, LaFell, Ginn, Edwards.   I know they don't play in shorts but they all are in shorts and Gettis seems to be low on the radar.
