i didn't even think of mcdaniels. But the Patriots seem to be a team to keep the media in control out of all the other teams in the NFL. i personally don't like The Golden Calf of Bristol, because i think he has done this to himself with his self-promotion (i.e GQ magazine cover) but if the dude learned to throw  at a minimum average qb level he could be pretty decent.

 

You have to wonder what the motivations for the Patriots are. They definitely don't need him. Do they think they can groom him? Especially with all the reports coming out about belichick denying he hated The Golden Calf of Bristol and all that other stuff. Because belichick RARELY speaks out in the media. It's just very interesting

yeah, i was thinking that what The Golden Calf of Bristol needed was a team who was (1) open minded and evolutionary in the development of their offense, which is the pats and (2) had control over the media in their area and had a wgaf mindset towards outsiders opinions, which is also the pats.

The thing is last year the Patriots only kept 2 quarterbacks.  I think either Mallet is traded or maybe The Golden Calf of Bristol gets cut after camp.
