Not really, they destroyed MS presser, have no restrictions on their console, and it's a C-Note less....

I'm not really concered with the price or the DRM. I buy both consoles for their exclusives. Also Xbox has had the superior Live and streaming apps(Xfinity, HBOGO). But PS4 will have Kingdom Hearts. So I'll be getting both.

I've owned every system since the original NES, day 1 launches I've been there. Sony however destroyed MS with this conference. It wasn't close.

Xbox did get deliberately Walder Frey'd tonight but it doesn't mean it's not worth buying. Value wise they're pretty even people. Although I wouldn't be surprised to see Xbox see the light on certain restrictions.

People buy Consoles to play games, everything else is just nice, MS forgot that, but Sony didn't and that's the difference that we saw tonight and the reaction from the fans, it's not even close, MS has lost me for the next Gen, and I've been pretty much solely with them since Xbox launch.

serious question: can microsoft change their 'always online' and 'no sharing games policy'- or is the infrastructure already in place such that this is no longer feasible- I honestly don't know how that works

I use my consoles for everything including games. I buy mine for the exclusives man. I will love and cherish both while I play games, watch HBOGO and browse for porn on IE.

This times 1000.  Sony made a stand for gamers by forcing developers to accept no restrictions to used games or lose the Sony install base.  They took a chance and will be rewarded ten fold for it.  Not to mention they're taking minimal profit if any at all on the console in order to give more to everyone at a lower rate.  It's not like PS4 won't be able to do the same entertainment things that the Xbox One can.  Sony was handed a fastball down the middle of the plate and they CRUSHED it out of the park....
