ok, for some reason I thought E3 wasn't starting till tomorrow and well yeah, I just found out that the Xbox one is going to be $500 fuging dollars!!!!!!!!!!

499$ For a system that cost MS about 325 to make. That's a huge markup for a console. 

Consoles usually break even, the 325 is probably what MS's take is going to be, the other 175 will go to the stores.

 

Remember its suggested retail price, if you think the that mark up is bad you should try whitewater kayaks, Cost 200 to make including labor and they sell new for $1100.  Yeah there are worse mark ups out there.
