Bears dump an unmotivated waste of a draft pick with decent physical skills still recovering from a rookie knee injury and pick up a 6th round pick in exchange.

 

In return, the Bucs pick up a lineman that has physical talent and could possibly put out in Tampa if he suddenly decides to adopt their scheme and put forth a good effort/rehab from his injury.

Low risk high reward. This is a good move. Hate on it if you want, the bucs look very formidable this season and couls easily contend. I dout they finish last this year.

They have Adrian Claiborne coming back from an ACL and Daquan Bowers coming back from an Achilles and gun charge with rookies William Gholston and Akeem Spence. Doesn't matter how great your secondary is if you can't rush the passer.

Carimi has been poo since joining the league.  However, for a 6th rounder, it is worth the risk to see if a change of scenery and coaching staff can turn him around.
