Panthers Mafia (forum game)

Recommended Posts

I've frequented several different forums and all of them love playing Werewolf/Mafia. You can go here for more information in regards to specifics.

I'd like to see how a game of Mafia would go here. With all of the know-it-all's that we have here I imagine that it would be chaos

I figure the theme would be the Mafia would be former Panthers players or non-Panthers players that aren't exactly favored by the fan base while the special roles for the civilian side could perhaps be based off of fan favorites.

So... anybody interested? Most of the places where I've done this require 20 players to start.

It could be a fun way to pass the offseason! :cam1:

I think someone tried to start one before but couldn't get any takers.

That was likely me over in the Nerdvana section. I figured there would be posters that were capable of intelligent thought and didn't have to make up for a lack of social skills by posting animated pictures in a pathetic attempt for pie and infamy. :P

Wargames.

<--- Wargamer hardcore fan since 1977/78

Then miniatures wargames, and today Spww2 and Spmbt (p/email)

I am always playing against the same player for 7 to 8 years now, the only one not cheating, someone i can trust.

btw i have played Werefolf once with something like15 players and i won, as a werewolf i have role played a paysant and betrayed all my fellow werewolves and killed all the paysants.

Sorry for the off topic.

    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
    • Did I miss something?  The people we have developing players now are not the ones we've had in the past so I don't know what the heck people are talking about when they say we are not good at developing players right now.  We only have one year to go on.  Canales likes young players or players who are on an upward trajectory, especially in FA this year.  Past QB's and what he's done with Bryce are good examples. Tershawn Wharton - 26 Tre'von Moehrig - 25 Pat Jones II - 26 Bobby Brown III - 24 Michael Jackson - 28 Jaycee Horn - 25 Tommy Tremble - 24 We missed on Milton Williams but he's 26. Everyone else we picked up are on 1 year deals.  The Panthers new front office and Canales absolutely scream developmental team. Pick 8 (stay) Tier 1 Elite - Abdul Carter, Travis Hunter and Mason Graham Tier 2 Elite - Jalon Walker, Mykel Williams, Will Johnson Trade down: There are quite a few really good players that fit us at Edge, DT, S and WR mid to late 1st and high 2nd.  Some combos that would be possible that I really like.  Imagine getting 2 of these guys by trading down. Stark, Pierce Jr, Golden, Scourton, Grant, Emmanwori, Ezeiruaku, Umanmielen, Deone Walker, Harmon and this is just off the top of my head.
