ANTHONY BENNETT

UNLV PF, 6'7 240 LBS

Bennett is a bit of a tweener just like another UNLV product who played for the Hornets in Larry Johnson, but I believe that his athleticism, versatility, and potential is too much to like. He will be able to solidify the PF position in the NBA level. Bennett will bring a lot of offensive power, and energy in addition to Kemba and MKG. His defense can be questioned, but the kid is a good re-bounder and scorer. Bennett is going to be a "monster" and create havoc in the paint. We can't fug this pick up and Anthony Bennett is the answer for the future.

He has the all around game and explosiveness you want..but damn he has a Duwan Blair(undersized Power Forward) quality that sucks...this draft is awful. Still like Len better..

Yea, physically he is very similar to Blair but it would be a shame to say that Bennett is Blair 2.0.

He didnt show up in the tourney. Didn't they lose round one? If he can be better then millsap then sure take him

Yea, UNLV loss to Cal 64-61 in the 2nd round. He had 15 points and 11 boards; still not bad. I don't like paying too much attention at players in the tournament. A good player is a good player, no matter if they perform badly in big scenes. I'm not going to degrade McLemore or Bennett with their performances in the tournament, because I know they can ball. Let's remember that these kids are playing their first big tournament in the college level.

Hearing that John Wall might prefer Bennett over Porter. That would really suck if Noel, McLemore, and Bennett all goes Top3.

I agree, this would be my "worst case scenario" for the Bobcats, but I still think walking away with Olidipo or Len at #4 isn't bad and could end up being a blessing in disguise not going for the potential of the other 3 guys and taking a low risk prospect.

I am not trying to open a can of worms, but if Otto Porter slips to #4 which is seemingly very possible, is he an option for the Bobcats if we plan to resign Gerald Henderson?
