Ginn gets another chance

La Pantera

It's a sad state of affairs when Ginn is a WR option for any squad. Carolina is already being laughed at for signing Ted as a returner. Wait until they find out that he will also be playing WR for us.

Annnnnnd another uninformed post.

Yeah, his abilities in the return game should be HUGE. We haven't had a good return game since Mark Jones (and that wasn't special) . An offenses chances of scoring greatly increase when they start a drive beyond the 20. The last 2 years we've had more scoring drive of 80+ yards than any other team. Imagine how much more successful we'd be if we only had to go 70-60 yards.

If there's anything I've learned about the NFL and it's players, it's that every player needs to be in the right system. I hope that this is the right system for Ginn. I hope that Gettis puts everything together, this year. I hope that our 6'5" WR and our 6'5" TE shows out. This is the problem I want!

Like Scotty said. He is a threat in the return game. Nice to have someone ST coaches have to worry over. He upgrades the return game. Until he is unseated there, he is on the team.

Unless he catches on as a WR. The Panthers have said they are open to working on plays to get him the ball. Sounds like a team that is hoping for more than just a return guy.

I watched him in college. He did have good hands. And he is scary quick with the ball. If he can make himself useful, it makes us better. I can live with that.

No one laughs at Ginn as a return man...he is a legit return man.

As a WR....he is a huge bust

i love him as a returner.

we don't need him to be a starter at receiver. his role will to be another deep threat, and a guy you want to get the ball in his hands. ie, reverses, end arounds, etc.

a 3 wr set with him and Gettis on the outside, with smitty in the slot, puts a lot of speed on the field.
