I think a strong case could be made for signing Brandon Moore

I do agree with you that we need to bring in more RG depth but i believe Kugbila can starter at RG when season open....If Amini  comes from D-II and move from LT to LG and play it decently then i believe a more athletic and powerful Kugbila can do it while still playing the same position from college and ...having Shula going back to more of traditional offense  with power run game will play to Kugbila strength....coaches and GM  believes in player with great instincts and awareness  which Kugbila seems to have........Its seems like they know something we don't know about Kugbila when they drafted him because they could have drafted D-I  school OL........

We could start him but he will be terrible......no way he will be an upgrade by the start of the season

The only thing about signing guys like Moore or Winston is that they are NOT going to sign one-year deals.

And I'm not sure Gett wants to sign a stop-gap offensive linemen for any more than a one-year deal.

Well that really my point ....sometimes you have to pay someone over league minimum for more than one year to improve your team.

There is absolutely no way Kugbila is ready to start by season opening IMO. He is already injured and not participating in OTAs. No one has ever seen him against any kind of talent. Amini struggled between Gross and Kalil. Putting Kugbila out next to Bell would be a disaster

its OTA if he is still injured by training camp then you could have a valid point...........Actually having him with Bell would be great IMO  the right side of our OL is going to be the key for our offense......i think part of Bell disaster came from having RG called Piggy getting pushed around like a rag doll........ Knowing all the problems  with our RG position and going back to power run with out picking up a FA RG  you think they have some faith in Kugbila or Piggy is going to improve all of sudden  ...... I think my crystal ball is right he is our starting RG when season starts.............Hit me up when we play Seattle

I am honestly willing to bet Kugbila will absolutely not be starting against Seattle. You so sure you are willing to bet on it? A small wager perhaps?

If you put any value into how Profootball focus grades OL then you will probably agree that we need to upgrade our OG held down by  Piggy. Our ability or inability to run the ball may very well define our offense in 2013 coupled with the fact we need depth on the OL and protection for Cam.

Brandon Moore is the best option to upgrade our OG spot that I can see.I do not think we can afford to wait on our 4th round draft pick to develop at the expense of our running game or protecting Cam.

So I guess the question is what type of value do you put on replacing one of the leagues worse guards with one that would at least be a top 20 even if you pay a premium ?

Not this again.
