I think a strong case could be made for signing Brandon Moore

There is absolutely no way Kugbila is ready to start by season opening IMO. He is already injured and not participating in OTAs. No one has ever seen him against any kind of talent. Amini struggled between Gross and Kalil. Putting Kugbila out next to Bell would be a disaster

Amini also had to learn a completely new position, something EK won't have to do.

Moore has been holding out for a big payday but the market was weak to begin with and at this point every single one of the teams that showed interest in him at the beginning of free agency went out and took an OG with an early draft pick. His market has all but dried up. At some point he's going to have to accept that he's not getting that $4 million a year he wants and take what's being offered. I'd hope we would be the one to end up landing him around $1.5 or so but I haven't seen anything to show we're interested at all (which, if true, I think is a mistake).

Amini was a second round talent, and Kug was apparently a reach in the 4th.  I'm thinking he's going to need

that first year as a reserve.

But the  situation is lining up for us...if Moore can be had for a 1 year deal between 1.5 and 2.5 milion, I hope we

pull the trigger now.

We must protect Cam.

its OTA if he is still injured by training camp then you could have a valid point...........Actually having him with Bell would be great IMO  the right side of our OL is going to be the key for our offense......i think part of Bell disaster came from having RG called Piggy getting pushed around like a rag doll........ Knowing all the problems  with our RG position and going back to power run with out picking up a FA RG  you think they have some faith in Kugbila or Piggy is going to improve all of sudden  ...... I think my crystal ball is right he is our starting RG when season starts.............Hit me up when we play Seattle

I am honestly willing to bet Kugbila will absolutely not be starting against Seattle. You so sure you are willing to bet on it? A small wager perhaps?

That is what you would like to bet?  being banned from the forum for a week?

How about, the loser must change their profile picture and signature to include pictures and lyrics from Justin Beiber for the coarse of the season.

I can't go that low in my life maybe a ban for 1 month from the huddle

Gettleman has worked a whole bunch of magic out of the mess he inherited, I'm confident he knows the right side of the line is a liability, and that he has formulated a plan to fix it. He likely has a player or players in mind, just waiting for them to become available at the price he's willing to pay.  He will rescue this team…the Panthers should have a Lombardi by now, but for the incompetence of the previous GM, and Gettleman knows it.  He will get a Lombardi here, and soon.
