I think he pointed out you might lower your expectations a bit. 425yard minimum each game isn't realistic for this offense.

Over the last 6 games last year we averaged 405 that includes a 271 performance against Oakland.  Drop that lousy performance and we averaged 440.

 

Why is it unrealistic to have 425?  Cause NE averaged 427.  Whatever.

 

If we perform the way we did in the latter half of the season.  We can achieve at least 425 per game.

And 350 is just a stupid number. The closest the past few years was the 2011 Saints with 334 when Brees attempted 41 passes a game, completed 71 %, and averaged 8.3 yards. No way Cam is throwing like an 11th year Brees.

I think we are going to see D'Will and Stewart go crazy this season.  We have the ability to really smash some defenses. 

 

If we get Hixon and Ginn to really step up and become a viable threat on this offense.  Defenses are going to have to pick their poison.
