Why is Shula simplifying the offense?

A. To streamline the play call so the players are more comfortable when the plays are radioed in.

B. Because he is a conservative ass play caller that does not understand how to use Chud's play book so he is "simplifying" things.

Cam said the verbiage of the play calling was being simplified. Believe he said that twice in his press conference and even said the plays would stay the same (or something to this effect)

the verbage obviously needs to be simplified... we used the entire play clock on every single play the last two seasons... Chud and co. have no idea what uptempo means

Keep it simple stupid. No need to have a 30 word and number combination play call to say dive left on 2. The easier it is to get in and out of the huddle the more time cam will have with his presnap reads. Same for the o line.
