AKA the JJ Jansen / the Nick Goings award.

nick goings was great as a role player until 2006 or so. he was washed up at that point but we extended him anyway (HURRRRRNEYYYYYYYY) and i remember watching us play the ...was it the texans? ...and he ran into the back of a lineman and just fell down on a 3rd and short, a la mark sanchez and the butt fumble, and at that point everyone knew he was just done. a few weeks later he went on IR and that was it.

he was a useful player for us for a while though.

The main reason I say that is because he's a white running back, and I can never take a white RB seriously. Some sort of deeply instilled racism against white people, sure, but I cannot help how I feel!!

probably extended him in exchange for him not filling a law suit against the team, that hit he got in the 05 NFCC game is what ended his career, and he probably could have easily took the team to court and won, a lawsuit for recieving a career ending injury while at work can be very expensive.

its not that, you look like you didn't watch the team before 2005/06 goings was a great quality do it all guy before he had that hit in the NFCC game, so if you didn't watch the team before then I could so how you can say that but otherwise your off your rocker.

Nick Goings wasn't white so you can like him again.
