A few random observations......

 

1. People who's gastro-intestinal systems are as delicate as some of y'all need to stick to the "Hello Kitty" boards.

2. Liver pudding and liver mush are the same thing packaged differently.

  2a Neeses makes horrible LP, either they use too much cornmeal or they freeze it. It's too grainy. Pender's is teh bestestest.

3. Pimento cheese makes everything better. Put some on your grits and eggs.

 

If you live in Wilmington, go to Flips on Oleander Dr and order a FlipBurger. A thick slab of bologna deep fried and served on a bun with mustard, chili, onions, and cheese.

There is a Dirty Jobs episode where they make that stuff. Looked more appetizing than a McDonald's kitchen. Pretty good really. Organs are the first thing eaten in the wild. Makes sense that humans eat them.

Black's BBQ Slaw from Black's in Gastonia makes every sammich better. My neighbor picked some up for our cookout last weekend. Was so good I ended up dumping it all over my glistening body for the women to lick off. There were no takers.
