pork chop sandwich from snappy's in mt. airy.

pork tenderloin put in a sweet milk and egg batter and then fried then chili sauce, cole slaw, mustard, and a couple slices of tomato. super messy but oh sooooo good.

 

i did some marketing for this sandwich shop up in virginia as it was opening and since they didn't have much of a marketing budget so i bartered with them so i pretty much got sammiches any time i wanted. that's probably my favorite way of doing business. i remember all their meat was boars head so it was pretty tasty. they had this thing called the dump truck and it was pretty much just anything they had on hand and threw it on a bun. the stack of meat itself was usually over and inch, sometimes i swear it was nearly two inches. used some spicy mustard and i was good to go.

⅓ lb beef patty seasoned with salt & pepper.

6 strips of thick cut apple wood smoked bacon, rubbed with brown sugar & ancho chili powder.

(Per burger)

Onions sautéed in butter with saffron.

Grilled cheese sammiches for buns.

Condiments of choice.
