Hard to believe he has the singlemindedness to play quarterback in the  NFL given he never had it in college. If 50 million didn't motivate him the first time, it is hard to believe the vet minimum would do it now. Just because he loses weight doesn't mean he has the mind set to excel.

but it also shows commitment. A major committment. Losing 50 lbs isn't easy.  Sometimes money isn't a motivating factor for everyone. I think he is truly embarassed and wants to right his wrong.  I hope the best for him.

I'm rooting for him, and hope he's able to turn his life around.  Would love to see him prove his doubters wrong, and go out there and become a star on the football field.  The chances of that happening are rather slim, but at least he's giving himself a slight chance by getting back in shape.

 

And to the poster who said the same people who feel bad for him drive by homeless people, and pretend not see them....I feel bad for him, and I help out the homeless in the Winston and Greensboro communities. I give when I can, plus volunteer my time helping out.  I want to see Jamarcus succeed, and hopefully he does just that.
