Veteran cornerbacks that might be cut in training camp?

This is another of those half truths you like so much. Yes we had pressure. When we were fresh. Usually a lot more pressure in the first half, and a lot less pressure in the second half. Especially late in games.

If you could not see our pass rush faded as the game wore on. Then you were not paying attention.

If Carolina generated the most pressures per snap last season than anyone....how is saying they has the best pressure a "half truth".

Even if you are the best....it is impossible to be on all game, every week. Regardless of DT rotation

It is a half truth, because we didn't maintain that pressure all game. You really do gloss over things that contradict your opinion don't you.

You can be the best for three quarters and still fall short in the fourth. If you don't want to see it fine. But the reality was, our pass rush faded from fatigue late in games.

Probably why so many are excited about the DT double dip. Our D-line will be fresh and dangerous late in games. As opposed to what happened last year late in games.

So then truthfully, per you, how do you define which defense gets the claim of most pressure generated....

Pressure is pressure....we did it more often than any team last year. Our secondary didnt just get beat on final drives.....those just stick out.

Also, we had more 2nd half sacks than first half sacks. More 4th q sacks than any other q.

Okay, t I'd like to say I agree we need to add a CB/S but for those who say we can't win games without a good secondary, JUST fuging look at where the secondary ranked for the 2009 Saints and the 2010 Packers, where did it rank you last you wonder? Dead last. 2 back to back Super bowl winners ranked dead fuging last.

Get over it.

Neither of those are close to true. 2009 the Saints defense was 26th in passing yards, 4th in completion %, and 5th in passing TDs. 2010 Packers defense was 5th in passing yards, 4th in completion %, and 4th in passing TDs. Neither were "dead fuging last"

Originally you brought up that we led the league in pressures. I responded that thought it may be true, we were better in the first half and faded down the stretch.

If your new stats are correct. Then my hypothesis is flawed. Although I would like to see where you got them. Stats by quarters would be interesting to me.

I guess this is another example of stats not telling the whole story. Because I though it was common knowledge our D-line got gassed by the end of games.
