Top 10 Teams Benefiting From Return Of Injured Players

Recommended Posts

NFL.com has a little segment on their website of teams that will benefit from some of their key players returning from injury, and much to no one's surprise; the Panthers made the list.

Chris Wesseling said the following...

Carolina Panthers

Games missed: Linebacker Jon Beason (12), center Ryan Kalil (11), running back Jonathan Stewart(7)

Analysis: The Panthers were lucky to have NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Luke Kuechly to plug in at middle linebacker when Beason couldn't return from a knee injury. With Beason and Thomas Davis healthy and two early round picks available to anchor the defensive front, Carolina should have an imposing front seven this season. The return of Kalil and Stewart will enable new coordinator Mike Shula to commit to the run after the ground game failed to find an identity last season.

Other teams on the list: Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers, Washington Redskins, Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans, Houston Texans, and the New York Giants.

Kalil will be the biggest return in my opinion.  The center of an offensive line is a very underrated position, and we have a great one in Kalil.  If he comes back at 100%, i expect our offensive line to be a good deal better.

Yeah, Kalil is the main key. Then Stewy, then Beast. Good to have them all back though. I want to pull a rayzor and say. Stewy needs to show he can be, and stay, healthy. Unfortunate about that. He could be something else, cuz he already is something. Or something like that. I know, I can say the same for Beast. Bring it or fear my wrath.

But yeah, those three back, and healthy, improves our team. I can live with that.
