Not well.  Sturridge looks like he'll be fit for tomorrow's friendly against Celtic, and one would assume he'd be ok for the start of the season on the 17th.

 

With Suarez and Sturridge together, there is a slight chance we could challenge T4.  Without Suarez, we are a 7th place side at best.

Of course, it may be for naught. Fenerbahce is appealing a 2 year ban due to a match fixing scandal. The appeal won't be until after both matches are played. It's also undecided as to what would happen if Fenerbahce advances but loses their appeal - whether Arsenal would move on or Bursaspor would take their place.

I honestly don't mind if Bale stays put, this will possibly ruin spurs from competing for next few years. Considering that almost every transfer they made is back loaded aka they only paid about £15m and they still owe close to £50m over next few years. Combine that with £80m in loan payment they have to make next year. Levy might be shooting for Champions League next year and then sale of Bale in range of £100m. Which should clear their debt for 2014. But if Spurs fail to make Champion League and Bale gets hurt, they have to come up with over £100m out of their ass.

I'm a Liverpool fan as well, yeah they are a mess right now.  I want Suarez gone, why are we wanting to keep a player that doesn't want to be here?  Makes no sense, we'd have 2-3 months and a lot of cash to work with if we sold him.  We would be able to find guys to combine to replicate his production

Liverpool is actively looking for a new striker so there is a good chance Suarez will be a gonner as soon as new striker is acquired.

As expected, Bale not playing against Espanyol today in their final friendly.  Money seems to be a big sticking point, but with Bale not playing (sorry he's not injured) I feel like this gets done a day or two before the deadline, or on deadline day which really sucks but oh well....

Edison Cavani is talking poo about Brandon Rodgers. Saying BR is full of crap and etc. Its getting good.

Brandon Rodgers told Suarez to apologize to his teammates and only then he will be allowed to play in games and practice with 1st team. Suarez reply was "Mmmnnnn, No..." Lol!
