It's a mess. It will be hilarious if Arsenal turns around and buys someone else and Liverpool will be stuck with him. Arsenal sold both Gervinho and Chamakh so they have no strikers behind Giroud and still missing one winger.

In either the Telegraph or Guardian interview from last night Suarez said "We have the written agreement.  We will take it to the Premier League." 

 

He also added that verbal agreement bullshit as a safety.  Now Prem is saying "verbal agreements aren't sufficient."

 

It's a mess.

It's better for Liverpool to sell him and use money on replacement. Arsene is stingy and he might look else where. Liverpool will screw themselves more by keeping him. I'm at the point where I'd rather Arsenal go after someone else. Lol. Too much drama.

Yep, but Arsenal sold Gervinho and Chamakh so they have 1 striker on the team right now. He definitely will buy a striker or two otherwise he's gambling big time with 1 striker on the team.

Not a transfer, but the French Daily L'Equipe is reporting that RM Centre Back Raphael Varane will get a new deal giving him a significant raise, and extending his contract until 2019.  Good news if true since Chelsea was rumored to be preparing a big bid for him, and Varane is one of the best young Centre Backs in the world.

Lots of places do that.  Just like the Daily Star reporting last week that CR7 back to United was virtually a done deal for 85 million pounds.  That's the problem following transfer news, so many places speculate and throw stuff out there to try and generate clicks, and sell papers.  Still it would make sense for RM to extend Varane at a higher wage if Chelsea is about to make a move for him....

Florentino Perez came out today and said no player is worth 100 million Euros.  Could just be posturing trying to get the best deal for RM, or it could be that Madrid has drawn a line in the sand and said this is as far as we will go.
