Gerard went public last night asking Suarez to stay... Arsenal said nothing in over a week so I'm wondering if there's something going on behind the scene. RM no longer interested in Suarez so Liverpool just lost a lot of leverage. They will either sale Suarez for £40m and look for new replacement or they have to deal with unhappy Suarez for a year.

Fox Soccer: RM coach Ancelotti confirms RM in contract negotiations with Bale. This means RM and Spurs agreed on a transfer fee. Adios Bale, as an Arsenal fan, I will not miss you.

 

Link please. I've read his comments from yesterday that RM are in ongoing discussions with Spurs, but have seen nothing about RM holding negotiations with Bale.

This is just poor wording from Fox Soccer. The Tweet links to the same story that's been at every outlet where Ancelotti is quoted as saying the following:

 

"It is difficult to talk about Bale because at the moment he is not a Real Madrid player," Ancelotti told a news conference."I believe the club is in talks to find a solution and we will see what happens. I am not used to talking about players who are not in my team and it would not be right to do so."

They are talking to Spurs, which we have known for quite a while, but are NOT talking to Bale about contract. That would be front page news everywhere if Spurs had agreed to a fee and allowed Bale to start negotiation of personal terms.

A source close to the deal says a source close to the deal told him that Suarez will be sold to Munich or Madrid for some fee and it will be announced some time in the future.

Seems legit.

Suarez is good as gone. Some Liverpool fans think Suarez is better than Bale and think he worth around £75m... Delusional...

Wanna keep Suarez? Surround him with talent.

meh my bad, didn't click the link because Bale transfer to RM is inevitable.  If players from RM, not to mention Ancelotti are talking it's because it's a virtual certainty....

He's going nowhere. He essentially has no choice at this point. No one wants him but Arsenal. That's barely above a lateral move.

 

Suarez isn't as good as Bale. I don't know of anyone who thinks he is. However, what is delusional is Bale being worth more than £70m. That's absurd.
