Nah.. we'll be running a 4-3-3 next year more often, with a split to 4-2-3-1 for certain teams. If anything, this allows us to rotate in Lennon and Chadli on the left, with Bale on the right, so he can cut inside for power shots from his left foot. Should make for more opportunities for him to score.

 

Defoe in the center, depending on if Ade is being sold or not, should give them more chances as well. But I still want to see us pick up better strikers. Recall Rose from Sunderland to man the LB spot, and we've got a dangerous offense next year, with a decent defense in support, and a suddenly very creative midfield to pair with them.

Apparently Brazilian winger Bernard is having medical this week for Arsenal. £21m reported fee for 20 year old. Bernard is only 5'3 tall but he's lightning fast and quick and got some amazing ball skills. Looks like Arsenal is going to shift Podolski to striker.

Spurs looking to spend about £20-25m on a striker. That means spurs will spend close to £50m in this transfer window and they not done shopping yet. I got a feeling Bale is a gonner.

News today out of Spain is that Bale has agreed to personal terms with Real Madrid on a six year contract at 6-7 million per year.  Now all that's left is to negotiate the transfer fee with Tottenham, which was always the tougher part.  There are claims though that now that Bale has agreed to terms, Real is ready to finally bring a formal offer to the table. The offer looks to be two separate offers, one of which will be 85 million, with a second option being 60 and a player presumably Angel di Maria.  I agree Arsen, I think it drags out until the end of the transfer window, but Bale will be playing for Real Madrid this year I feel....

Spurs cannot afford to spend £70m in one transfer window, they r no Real Madrid or Manchester United. They also got loan payments coming up in 2014. If u read between the lines, spurs preparing for Bale departure.

Fox Soccer just reported Madrid agreed on contract with Bale, Bale wants to leave Spurs. Oh the drama.

Arsenal reportedly offered a fresh bid of £42m for Suarez.  Hearing it may be £35m up front with £7m worth of add-ons if they win a trophy...
