Apparently Liverpool rejected the bid and now asking for £55m... That's how much PSG paid for Cavani...

 

PSG paid the release clause which was 63 I think.  No way either guy is worth that much though....

Real Madrid and Tottenham apparently negotiating the transfer of Fabio Coentrao.  This looks nothing more than Perez trying to get back in the good graces of Levy by giving him a deal on Coentrao if it goes through.  Then when they begin their "official" pursuit of Bale Perez has a bargaining chip....

 

This is the first I've heard of this. With his price tag though, I'd rather we put Rose in at LB, and spent that 35 mil on a true striker. If it happens, it happens. But I feel we could spend that money better elsewhere.

Benteke withdraws transfer request, re-signs with a new contract according to my bleacher Report feed on my phone.

 

 

 

So much for Spurs picking up a striker this window.... yet again. Every target we've been linked with has gone elsewhere or been scooped from us. I'm not raising my hopes anymore.
