I don't know what hot manicure girls you're talking about, unless your standards are really low.

I've only seen ugly older Asian and Indian women doing this while they talk poo about you in their foreign tongue.

If you go to the beauty school for a cheap Mani/Pedi you are more likely to see the young hotties. That is what I used to do and I'd be out the door for $15 with tip.

Cookie had a dog named Cookie. You have to know the family. (They used to raise Poodles.)

I've been in SC for 25 years and still don't know wtf a cicadas is. I know they are as irritating as a weekend at the inlaws. Other than that? Not so much.

after 17 years of being in the ground they come out like this...

and then they come out by the thousands....and i mean thousands as in millions....and do this EVERYWHERE

Cicada%2Bhatching.jpg

leaving behind this all over trees, plants, picnic tables...

and then they go up in the trees and make all that sound trying to attract mates so they can do this...

and then the females lay a bunch of eggs in the ground and those stay there for another 17 years.

i took my daughter on a walk to the back side of our property and i heard some cracking and a tall spindly tree that was totally loaded with them fell over and broke. most of the time we were walking we were having to dodge cicadas flying around and bumping into us.

these things aren't small, either. about an inch to an inch and a half.

tons of fun.

yep.
