Panthers’ Kuechly says new linemen make his job easier

Recommended Posts

is it wierd that i found his comments un-kuechly like?

"It was funny, (defensive tackle) Sheldon Richardson got picked up at number 13 and then I knew we had the next pick and there were still two tackles on the board. I was like, ‘Please get one of them for me,’" Kuechly said.

I'm not trying to say anything, but that's not usual for him to say something like that, even though it is true.

I've actually seen similar statements from Ray Lewis.

After Tony Siragusa retired, he lamented not having guys like Goose up front, till they got Haloti Ngata.

Kuechly's knows he can't do everything himself, and he's smart enough to know what makes a defense better. I have no issue with that.

One three letter word: Fua

Fua's suck-ass play will cause even the most humble teammate to publicly beg for help.

Kuechly looked like a fuging madman during that 2nd Atlanta game.  Going back and forth with Matt Ryan spitting out audibles to counter with, motioning to the crowd every play to raise the fug up at the line of scrimmage, and then banging his head after every tackle so hard that a lesser man might get a concussion.  I was already impressed as fug at how good he was before that game, but it was somewhere during that game I realized he really might be something special.

After that I thought, "Yeah... maybe this dude isn't quite as shy as his media persona portrays."

it's amazing how overanalytical we get during the offseason.

That's hardly something that's restricted to the offseason.  For reference see every conversation about a certain towel that endorses a certain sports drink.

Just reading about Keek is getting me pumped for this season man. Dude is without a doubt 100% pure beast. When he went on that tear of tackles after being flagged against the Raiders.. holy crap man. So many amazing highlights of him in a short year of playing the mike.
