Carolina Panthers’ Greg Hardy leaner, just as mean in 2013

Recommended Posts

Yeah last season when he gained the weight I questioned it, but it ended up paying off for him. Hopefully he keeps the strength with a better burst this year to keep the offensive lineman off balance... You know Hardy actually plays the tougher side of the defensive front. He plays against the franchise left tackles while big money usually lines up against the right tackles. Interesting when you think about who gets paid the big dollars.

True but remember most of the time the right side also has a TE working with the RT. Or at least for teams that do not have top recieving TE's

pretty sure they asked him to beef up last year knowing our deficiency at the dt position. considering our draft moves and FA signings, they won't be asking him to move inside on passing downs as often.  methinks they are setting him up for a monster of a season, either to sign him big money alone or even to (oh god dare i say it) replace cj.

How/Why are they going to replace CJ? It seems as if your implying that they might cut Johnson next year...

Now I'm not 100% sure of all the details of Johnson's contract, but I'm sure that they would owe him a hell of a lot of money...

I'm not really sure the point you're trying to make.
