That IS odd.   Maybe just a web dev mistake though.

It's possible, but it wasn't there last night when I was going through the list of starting NBA PF's for the Anthony Bennett comparison I made. I find it really strange that in the span of 8 hours, it went from having the current teams listed to having two extra TBA teams added on.

Maybe Seattle is getting a team anyways since their proposal was so good.... Wonder who the other city would be then though?

Orlando might trade back a few spots to like 5-6 and still be able to get Trey, so I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibility that someone makes a move up for McLemore.  I honestly still think that the Magic stay put and take McLemore and try and find a taker for Afflalo.

Also, ESPN is showing something weird that wasn't there the other day.

It's showing two TBD teams as in expansion teams on the depth list. lol whut???

Here's a link to one of the pages for one of the teams.

That would suck. But, really who would move up to take McLemore?? Minnesota, but they're at 9.

If I was the GM, I'd take Burke right at 4 just to pissed Orlando off for trading down from two. lol

Sources tell ESPN's Chad Ford that the Wizards are "very high" on UNLV F Anthony Bennett.

It's widely assumed that the Wiz will go for local product Otto Porter if he's there at No. 3. But don't sleep on Bennett, a prospect with significantly more offensive upside. As a freshman, he lit up the underrated Mountain West Conference for 16.1 points per game on 53.3 percent shooting -- and did it in just 27.1 minutes a night. Bennett is an excellent shooter and ball handler for someone listed at 6'8/240.

It looks like the Wizards are down to Bennett or Porter

The ideal scenario plan and simple is McLemore falls to us.  McLemore is the perfect fit.  We need a spot up shooter who can drain 3s... that's McLemore.  Kemba is a ball dominant 1 so McLemore fits in perfectly here.  McLemore can straight ball, throws down some highlight reel dunks that'll bring fans out of their seats in the Hive.  But I still don't see McLemore falling to 4, I bet Orlando takes him at 2.  So assuming he's not on the board my top two are Oladipo, Bennett or trade.

Oladipo:  the MKG comparison is horrible.  Oladipo's jumper is much smoother and more consistent.  Plays great D, great motor and fits the Cho bill.  But the problem is we need a guy who can be a 20 ppg guy in the future.  I think in Oladipo's prime he averages 14-18 ppg, so that could be a problem.

Bennett: we need a big who can score and that's what Bennett is in a nutshell.  Bennett has questionable size and many scouts criticize his game on D.  However with Bennett him & Kemba combine to give us a dangerous p&r combo for years to come.  He has a good wingspan to make up for his smaller size, so he has potential on the defensive end.

trade: Would love to swap 4 for 9 and Derrick Williams.  Derrick Williams is still a great young talent who could really benefit from a change of scenery.  Can serve as a stretch 4 which we need.  With the 9 pick, look at Shabazz or Steven Adams.  I'm tellin you that Adams kid can be the best from this class.  His potential is insane and he's a hard worker, he's huge.

    • I didn't say much bigger. Watch the highlights I linked. Bryce doesn't have the arm strength and/or talent to make the vast majority of the throws Mac made in that video.
    • Tetairoa McMillan.   The last 28 1st overall picks were either a QB, DE, or OT. Seeing as I don't think we'd take an OT in the 1st and give up on Ickey as an LT yet and there doesn't seem to be a clear overall #1 type of QB or DE pick this year, it very well could be a non conventional #1 overall this year, at least in regards from the last almost 3 decades of drafts. If we didn't have Horn, I'd be more open to Hunter as a CB at #1, but we have him so another CB wouldn't be how I'd use a #1 pick.  And as much as I love Legette, if we have SB contending aspirations, I don't think Legette is a #1 on a team like that, but he damn sure is an elite #2 on a team like that.  He's more of the Smith/Higgins/Waddle to Brown/Chase/Hill (in terms of role/impact, not style of play of course). T-Mac is going to be the top ranked WR on every team's board in the end.  He is going to be a true outside #1 WR who is viewed as a consensus Top 5 WR in the game by his second contract in the same way guys like Jefferson and Chase have done.  His height combined with his speed, athleticism, and hands are near impossible to find all in one player, there is a reason his generally used comp is Mike Evans (although as he's not as thick, I personally see him more as an AJ Green). Yes, as an Arizona alum I've admitted to having bias towards the player to begin with.  But he's also someone very widely being put into the Top 5 in mock drafts lately and most of them have him as the first non QB offensive player being taken, so it's not really THAT much of a homer pick on my part anyways. If a QB or DE truly separate themselves as being a can't miss prospect come draft day, I'm open to that discussion, but until then, or if it doesn't happen, T-Mac is my pick 100 times out of 100.
