According the Cowherd, Vegas has Carolina at 7 wins.  He takes the over, says Carolina is 8-9 win team.

carolina is getting the amount of confidence they've earned.

 

anyone upset at having the bucs projected to win more games have rivera & co. to thank for us getting swept by them.

 

sweeping the saints mean very little because they were without payton. having him back pretty much ensures a winning season.

 

atlanta heading into the playoffs how many years in a row now and more wins than anyone pretty much ensures the liklihood that they will have at least 10 wins.

 

meanwhile we're just happy with maybe being one game better and keeping things the same because it is, after all, forward progress, even if it doesn't result in a winning season.

I've seen as low as 6.5 for the Panthers (though the over is -130). Pretty favorable bet I'd say though I normally don't like doing these season long bets because your money is tied up for so long.

The huddle would be in serious meltdown mode if we managed to somehow finish below that 6.5 mark. I know we have a tough schedule but god help me if we don't atleast get to 8 wins.

You are almost forced to go place a bet on the Rams (7.5)!  Rough division, finished 7-8-1 last year.  I don't see enough improvement to justify any more wins.

I know this team has a history of making me look foolish when I say this...but I just don't see how we could fall below that mark and retain a coach.  There's no excuse short of we lose Cam, a few LBs, a DT, and Smitty all at once to injury for the whole season that could even come close to saving hide then.  At least not to anyone with any common sense.
