I just believe that McLemore's ceiling is much higher than Oladipo. Both players have shown that they can play. I just think that McLemore has the ability to be a franchise player. Oladipo is going to be good but I think he's going to be just another player. A 15-16 ppg Guard while McLemore is going to be a 18-20 ppg player. That's just my opinion.

McLemore has trouble getting his shot off or creating shots against bigger or faster defenders while Oladipo excels at it.

This is one of the most important aspect's of being a capable scorer in the NBA. I mean there's a reason that McLemore disappeared down the stretch and in the NCAA.

2-7 against Kansas St. with 6-4 McGruder and 6-6 southwell, "Both over 200 pounds"

2-5 against Western Kentucky with 6-5 Dickerson

0-9 against UNC with 6-3 Stickland and 6-5 Hariston

I'll give him credit for going off against Stauskas, but he's a bean pole at 6-6 190light.

Honestly, McLemore being passive isn't as big of an issue to me.  He was a freshman, maybe he just didn't want to step on his teammates' toes?

James Harden was famously "passive", even sending a letter to OKC during his draft process if I'm not mistaken saying he was fine being the 2nd or 3rd guy on a team.  Now that he's forced to be the star in Houston, it's working pretty well I'd say.

So a really raw big man with a knee injury or a G who is passive...so we want to get a high pick in this draft?

Ive seen the story of Centers with bad kness drafted no.1 overall.... It does not end well

I'll be the first to admit, I was not a Noel fan when he was coming into college, but after doing quite a bit of research on the young man, well I've pretty much come to the conclusion that he is a game changer on the defensive end... Mutumboesque If you will.

Also there is a difference between bad knees and a knee injury. Thomas Davis has bad knees, Nerlens Noel suffered a freak accident. If you remember he injured it when he banged it on a basket brace, it's not like he came down on it wrong or something.

In my opinion, Noel is one of the only players in this class that has superstar potential and the Hornets definitely need that superstar.

His original broken knee cap in highschool might have had something to do with the ACL injury and that is scary.

I'm under the assumption that it did, and that is wasn't properly repaired.

I for one think his rehab will go great, and he'll be able to get back to the way he played at UK.

But after all, this won't matter at all if we don't get a top two pick.

What I really meant and it's my fault as I worded it poorly as hell is that the ACL injury might be telling of the condition of his knee's health overall.  The original knee cap issue may cause more problems in the future type of thing.

I think he comes back fine from it and I think he'll end up being a defensive star and has the potential to get 15PPG, 12RPB and 2.5BPG.  I think that's his max though, defensive star that can give you 10-15 a game.

He reminds me of Marcus Camby, like a lot.
