Star Trek Into Darkness Review

Before Abrams took over the highest compliment you could even give a Star Trek flick was that it was a good to great Star Trek episode. Wrath of Khan managed to break out of that limitation but it was the only one. Abrams has really elevated the franchise with these two movies. Count me in the list of big fans of what he is doing.

This is a really great Star Trek episode and a helluva good movie too. I thought this one was well paced, well written, and yes even we'll executed by the actors. It's a near perfect tip of the hat to what came before it.

Seeing what Mr Abrams has done with these last two films gives me great hope for how he will handle that other franchise he is taking on.

Sexism? It's entertainment. Majority of people going to see this movie will be guys so it's Catering to its audience. Every movie throws in those scenes

Just got back from seeing it with my oldest son...  loved loved loved it.  Excellent movie, would see again.

 

The way they tied it into the original Wrath of Khan' was not only a big surprise but very well done.

This made the whole alternate timeline look like the best idea ever.

My only regret is that I didn't watch 'Wrath of Khan' with my son before seeing this because he's never seen that one.
