Honestly, I don't see what the big deal here is. People (media) have been very critical this offseason about the Panthers in general. Steve Smith was only stating his opinion in reference to Mr. Butt Fumble.

Dolphin fan here, just would like to take this time to thank my all time favorite receiver Steve smith for his talent, and his hilarious comments about Sanchez..do I think it was classy, umm, not really, Steve is too great and is a hall of fame player imo, he needs to continue to conduct himself as if he's going to be such, but damn did I love it, and, it's deserved, the guy wanted to go to New York for the wrong reasons, and does not have the ability to lead men, case in point, wearing different color headbands each day..someone needs to wake this Putz up and tell him he's not in college anymore..

He has been one of those manager types, with a good defense, a running game, and decent weapons around him. When those weapons broke down, and the defense didn't keep them in games, you see what we saw last year.

Alex Smith goes on tv last year and trashes our team calls us out by name- Nobody cares, they agree with him.

 

Smitty goes on the radio and trashes Mark Sanchez for sucking (telling the truth)- He is a assclown, disrespectful, he should have kept it to himself.

 

Case in point- we will restart respecting everybody else when they start respecting us. No problem with what Smitty said.

Ive heard coaches on multiple an occasion say that about teams or organizations before. Some players do it, some dont. Ask yourself this though. . if a dude is gonna be calling people out, what would justify him to do so? Well, is being a bad muuthfugger on that list? Thats pretty much all that matters. He can say whatever he wants. The cry babies, on the other hand, probably should not.
