He could lineup and be better than anyone we put on the field IMO outside of our nickel CB.  But he IMO could do his most damage at S....it gives him the most opportunity to take advantage of an opponent.

 

if we just look at a one year window....I'd rather have a RG more than anything......then someone for the secondary

 

But you also have to look at his age. He just came off of an injury. There is a stronger possiblity of him getting re-injured again at his age, than just taking that money and signing someone at RG who is much younger and would do a solid job. I think it would help this team more than signing Charles.

 

I wouldn't be mad if we did it for a million, I would just hope there were other moves happening that would allow us to sign an O-lineman.

He lost the speed to play CB effectively a few years ago. Seeing him a few times last year, he may have lost the speed to play Safety too. He would've been picked up by now if it was just an injury risk concern.

I think that it says we are VERY young at DB.....and a seasoned vet like Woodson would help greatly in their development.
