You have to put in perspective... Ed Reed is still relatively in his prime and he only got 4.5M per IIRC. I doubt he's asking for, or is going to get more than 3 per.

Regardless, he's right. Reed is younger and more effective. Woodson was a nickel back last year in comparison to Reed, who was the starting safety on the Super Bowl champs. Woodson is going to go for cheaper than 4+ mil, and if he thinks otherwise he can plan to keep doing interviews about how he hasn't been signed yet.
