Shower not producing water

that would be a disaster for me.  I have the mechanical aptitude of a 7 yo girl.

I can change light bulbs around the house....that is the extent of it.

Disposals usually just have a large collar that unscrews and it drops right off. Really easy to remove or replace

Solution to both problems:

  1. Open Beer
  2. Call plumber
  3. Describe problem
  4. Hang up
  5. Open second beer
  6. Post on Huddle (and consume more beer)
  7. Play with dog (and consume more beer)
  8. Open door for plumber
  9. Give directions to malfunctioning component
  10. Open beer
  11. Play favorite video game (and consume more beer)
  12. Write check/provide cash (or appropriate amount of precious metal and gemstones)
  13. Escort plumber to the door

House is fixed and you've enjoyed an afternoon of relaxation and good beer drinking.

If the screw is stuck under one of the teeth, put 5-6 ice cubes in disposal and run it for a couple of seconds......couple seconds more....couple seconds more. Run hot water to melt the ice. Using a flashlight, take a long screwdriver (or knife) to try and manually move the teeth to see if the screw is loose. If they move, you should be able to see the screw. Use a piece of tape on a screwdriver/knife to retrieve screw.
