Great efficiency and production. Possesses some athletic ability. Smart, doesn't make many mistakes. Team leader. Quick release, and shows good anticipation. Throws a tight spiral, and has some surprising velocity on outside and intermediate patterns. Has good touch when dropping the deep ball in the bucket.

 

Weaknesses

Lacks prototypical size for the position. Arm strength is lacking. Will struggle to fit the ball into tight windows or to drive the ball downfield. Many of his reads were pre-determined and included easy completions. Only one full season of great production.

You miss his greatest asset to the team. Those spreads he puts out for meetings. He is the main reason Cam GAINS during the season.

Honestly, this is probably a terrible offense for him to try to play/compete in.

 

He would have been better off to go to a short passing O like a west coast or something like the Pats run.

 

That is unless Shula is planning on doing something very different.

A player like Cameron is important because we can cut him, slip him onto the PS, and go with 2 QBs on the roster. We do not need a roster spot holding a clipboard and giving Cam aerial body bumps when we score.  Cameron would be learning the system and doing just as much as Jimmy.

 

I am almost certain that is what this is about.
