Our new QB McGloin....

Makes you wonder if the read option was popular when Armanti entered the league if someone would give him a shot a qb.     Probably not

I'm sure he would've gotten a shot. Would he have been drafted as a QB? Probably not, but he would have been given a shot at least as an UDFA.

Watched him all last year while I was at penn st., he's not the most athletic and doesn't have a very good arm but he showed a lot of guts leading that team to the season it had after all the team went through... Is be surprised of he makes the roster but I'm rooting for him nonetheless! It was awesome watching him last season.

He does not have an overly strong arm (that will be his downfall).

But he is

1. very smart (learned o'briens complex passing offense before they started practice.

2. Very mature and has great intangibles (really rallies that team in bad times)

3. Great work ethic

Hope he beats out Vlausen and makes the team

So, we're going into TC with five QBs on the roster then? That's a bit unusual...

Don't sleep on Colby Cameron guys. He's supposed to be pretty good as well.

I agree and the coaches should know by now that Clausen sucks so lets move on and send Clausen packing

Is this a joke article? Oakland can't be serious?

All UDFA contracts are for 3 years, there's usually just no signing bonus or guaranteed money so it's easy to cut ties.

1st round rookies: 4 years + Option year

2nd-7th round rookies: 4 years

Undrafted rookies: 3 years

There are a lot of other players that could have came in over him and been a better prospect/person. I know its only a camp player and really doesn't matter but this is the 1st move I have not liked this offseason.

I would too.. unfortunately Jimmeh Jammah probably isn't being cut. 95% of his cap hit is guaranteed. 95% chance Jim Jim stays

His bonus this season is 322k of 930k total. That is like 40% and nothing that will effect him getting cut or not.
