Charles Woodson: I will play for any team

He'd be a FS on this team. Would you start him over Godfrey at this point? If not he'd most likely have play on STs as a backup...and we know thar ain't happning at his age

Unless you want him as a corner it makes little sense to bring him in. We need corner help not safety help.

Our S's are weak.

Woodson at FS and Godfrey at SS is better than what we have right now.

Woodson is a shell of himself....but he is twice the S Godfrey is.

He's better than any of our safeties, and he's still probably better than any of our corners. He's old and injury prone at this point, but there is no risk in a one year deal.

Our biggest unknown is at SS. Woodson isn't a SS. In order to get him on the field you'd have to move Godfrey. I don't see the staff moving him. Woodson may be done. We've got no way of knowing. And there sure hasn't been teams knocking down doors to get him.

Godfrey is going to be playing FS for us this year, which is where he should be playing.

Woodson isn't the SS type.

So he really doesn't fit a need for us.

I wouldn't be upset to see him as a Panther, but i don't see it happening.
